How to make a lot of dust Part 2 "Sandblasting"

So the screws were braking my expensive planer blades.
The only solution I could come up with was to remove the screws before planing. But how to get to them without using the planer?

Then I realised that my Perago might do the trick. This is a rubber disk with tungsten carbide bits in the perimiter that is spun in an electric drill to imitate the effect of sandblasting. This works very well to take layers of paint and rust of a keel, lets try it om my teak!

As it turned out, it worked quite well. I started out next to the wooden footrail where the planer wouldn't be able to go anyway, and cleared enough area to give the planer room to do its job. When I found a screw I'd follow the beam to try and find more screws. When I got tired I changed to removing screws.

Though progress was a bit slow, for the first time I had the idea I was actually getting something done.

Looking down on to the shed floor I had also started creating a lot of dust.

Little did I know of what was still to come...
