How do you carry tools onboard?

I am used to have a lot of tools handy so I have compiled a set for my boat.

But how to keep them together? I now have them in a plastic container that has a lid and a handle but this container has allready cracked. I do want them to be accessible and easy to store.

Any sugestions?

I keep mine in a plastic toolbox (Stanley brand) which fits nicely in a space under one of the cabin benches. It's one of the smaller sizes, enough for a set of spanners, selection of screwdrivers, pliers, hammer, strap wrench, folding saw etc. There are 2 or 3 other tools too large for the box (and not often used) in various other places around the boat.
My toolbox is now 2 years old and seems as though it will last a good while longer.
